I've been rubbish at posting to this blog and it's probably down to the fact that it's 2009, the 366 project has come to an end and I no longer feel obliged to take a photo every day. So I'm not. I'm doing commercial work and fashion based commissions but I've not been doing much for myself though I'm sure that'll change when the weather picks up. Last week I was working for Rare and shot this on the new Nikon D90 which is the first SLR to shoot video. There wasn't a lot of footage, and it's mostly shot on a tripod, as I was doing the shoot itself at the time. It's a bit of an odd idea shooting video on an SLR but one worth getting used to when you realise you can shoot from ultra wide to telephoto (if you've got the lenses) and have control over depth of field with what is essentially a cheap video camera. You can see a higher quality version if you click the video and go through to You Tube.
