Big up the Crosby.
Whilst the north end of Liverpool's take on hip hop culture rarely stretches beyond the odd deluded youth wandering around The Strand in a Snoop Dog t-shirt, that all changed on Friday when Crosby's Almiro Gallery hosted it's first non commercial exhibition as part of a new programme for Capital Of Culture. The show was produced by Liverpool's Zap Graffiti arts and runs until Feb 15th. Not exactly groundbreaking but nice to see something out in Crosby with an edge. And a bit further down the road is this other nice little piece of Americana decor. It's a Stateside obsessed house and now I want to see inside!

Hiya Mate! Thanks for coming to our show on Friday night! (COMBAT CALLIGRAPHY!) and for the spot on yer blog!
W're having more of these evbents over the next year, each month at different spots so we'll keep you informed and see if you're up for coming round again! All ther best!
