It's hip to be square

This is a photograph taken for Shoot Experience who are hosting the Met To Tate photo competition in Liverpool over the coming months. Myself, Peter Carr and Helen Palmer were asked to go out and take some photographs for the brochure/map and they all had to be cropped to square. I also had a conversation, on the same day, about the Mamiya C330 square medium format camera with Matt from Black & Ginger and that's got me wanting to shoot on film again and actually not having to crop on the computer!

Yeah I have one of these - I really like using it - completely different from using a digital camera - makes me take more time over individual shots and the square format is a nice change!

Must try and use it more though!
